net.tcp protocol unavailable for the address

A colleague of mine ran into this issue and found the fix to be


Run the following utility to re-register WCF Stuff

%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\ServiceModelReg.exe –r

    Follow up: This fix doesn’t work all the times. Here’s best bet (better) solution:
    1. Delete the whole website
    2. Add new website
    3. Setup net.tcp for required webapps.
    4. use aspnet_regiis -iru
